Posting on the internet is pro-social

I’ve been thinking a lot about activities that are good for you when you are in a hyper-focused season of your life but don’t want to completely atrophy your social skills.
Posting on the internet seems like a good way to be pro-social while not being distracted by too many events and happenings around you that may knock you off your game.
This post for example, is only taking me 5 minutes to write for example.
Yet when I fire it off to the internet, I get a rush of endorphins for some reason.
Therapeutic almost.
And nice not to immediately see your post among the wash of a feed where ideas and personalities are all over the place in terms of emotional valence.
I’m writing this on Obsidian btw. This is my own content management system that I built.
A lot to improve but still cool that I can make my own blog and control how it looks and how everything updates and is displayed, etc.
Going to fire off more thoughts into the world like this without much planning because it feels nice.
If you’re seeing this and there is no like button or comment section, eventually I’ll build a way for people to interact with these posts.
But for now, will mainly focus on getting back into a rhythm.
